Adventure With Kristin Harila and the team
Dear friends,
We made it, we are in Tibet-China at Kerung 2900m. We passed through customs yesterday morning.
Several hours of checks, papers, bag searches, book and map controls (confiscated), and PCR tests upon exit. But we made it! 🙂
The team consists of Kristin Harila, Matias Myklebust (Kristin’s cameraman), Viridiana Alvarez, and myself.
The logistics team includes 5 climbing sherpas, 2 cooks, and Mingma, the boss of Climbalaya agency who negotiated our special permit and our passage to Tibet.
Unfortunately, 6 sherpas, including Dawa Sangay, had their visas refused!!
It was a difficult decision to make and we hesitated a lot about leaving without Sangay.
