Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies. Essential ones are always on; analytics cookies are set only if you accept them. Details and your choices are in our Cookie Policy.

Who receives your data

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and with our authorized distributors and retailers when needed to handle your request or claim. These providers include our website hosting provider (OVH), email and newsletter services (such as Mailchimp), Google (Analytics, Maps), Cloudflare (form protection), Automattic (Akismet spam filtering), and the providers of embedded content such as Instagram, YouTube and Elfsight widgets. We have agreements in place that require them to protect your data. We do not rent or sell personal data.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example in response to a court order or an authority's request, or to protect our legal rights.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some providers, such as Google and Mailchimp, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case we rely on safeguards recognized under the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and for any period the law requires, such as accounting and tax rules. Enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle them and follow up. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. After that, we delete or anonymize the data.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, spam and malware protection and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage on the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
  • have inaccurate data corrected and, in many cases, have your data deleted
  • restrict or object to the processing of your data, including direct marketing
  • receive your data in a portable format, where it applies
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing

To use these rights, please contact us. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Our lead authority is the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta, idpc.org.mt, or the authority in your own country.
