Skis

OUR MISSION

All OGSO skis are manufactured to perform at the highest levels in the backcountry as well as at the resort and are built with the newest and most innovative materials.

OGSO’s proudest achievement is the creation of an extraordinarily versatile ski. All our skis are shaped to be multi-use, one-ski quivers. OGSO skis perform in all snow conditions – powder, crud, crust, slush, choppy, tracked, concrete, packed, ice – as well as when skiing fast or slow and on steep, bumpy, or flat terrain.

OGSO skis are designed to help you ski long days with minimal physical effort and maximum control.

Everyone knows that skiing is tough on the legs. The principle behind OGSO is that our skis save your energy and maximize your effort so you can enjoy those good days as much as possible.

OGSO skis perform so well because they are very forgiving on bad snow, ice, steep terrain and tight couloirs. We all make mistakes when we ski (even the best skiers make mistakes) and OGSO skis enable you to progress rapidly, broaden your horizons and discover new playgrounds. And for advanced skiers with legs of steel, just turn these skis loose and you’ll finish the day totally amazed at how OGSO skis have taken you to ski on Mars.

OGSO designed SUPER ROCKER CARBON ULTRALIGHT skis to be the perfect ski for long, fun days in the backcountry searching for untracked pow. Our SUPER ROCKER shape enables you to make smooth, relaxed, surfy turns for an exceptional, all-terrain experience. Easy turn initiation and tail release make on-piste carving easy, yet once you pressure the edges the short camber provides edge hold for precise, controlled, fun skiing. Our ultralight carbon/aramid/basalt technology makes this ski lively, energetic and responsive. Our SR UL skis are versatile, fun skis that are perfect for any level of skier who wants to ski effortlessly through difficult, technical terrain or who simply wants to pivot between the trees.

  • Sandwich construction with ABS sidewalls for torsional stiffness, excellent edge hold, maximum durability and consistent flex throughout the ski. Features one layer of carbon aramid fiber on top of a paulownia wood core with one layer of carbon aramid fiber underneath. All fiberglass layers completely cover the ski from sidewall to sidewall for additional strength.
  • SUPER ROCKER features high, early-rise and nose and tail for outstanding float in powder and easy turn initiation release for smooth, surfy turns. It enables you to ski powder in a balanced and relaxed position. No more leaning back! Less surface contact with the snow further facilitates turns and easy pivot.
  • Camber underfoot provides precise, powerful edge hold on steep terrain and fast, steady carving
  • Paulownia wood core has high strength-to-weight ratio and a natural feel
  • Carbon composition provides lightweight strength
  • Aramid and basalt fibers contribute a balanced, comfortable feel for smooth, steady turns
  • Carbon X-tape of newest carbon fiber and carbon/kevlar located in front of the binding anchors the ski to the snow for remarkable stability. This technology reduces torsion, provides immediate response and transfers energy to make this ski extremely reactive. It stabilizes the ski at high speed and provides fantastic downhill performance.
  • Performance flex provides torsional stiffness and accentuates the SUPER ROCKER short and flat camber and provides maximum, immediate pressure under foot
  • Vibration absorbing technology provides dampening for a frontside-ski feel
  • Phenol plates under the bindings for secure, lightweight binding hold
  • Race-quality 7500 sintered base with 15% carbon for fast glide and outstanding durability

GENERALLY ALL BINDINGS ON OGSO SKI ARE MOUNTED

Follow the indications “Middle foot” of the technical specs and measure the ski in centimeters from the tail including the shock absorber.

The mounting of the bindings can be adapted to your style and technical level. If you are a freestyler, mount the bindings a little more forward, but it will tire your thighs a little more. Mount the binding a little back, if you ski really ultra-competitive and aggressive, charging at all time and you have a strong and inclined boot and your upper body is pushing well forward.

Freestyler: +1
Normal skier: 0 Middle Boot
Off-piste or multi-purpose: 0 Middle Boot
