OGSO skis

I skied the Schwarztor 100 UL for 2 seasons. I skied it well into 100 days, on big days mountain guiding and my days off shredding with friends and colleagues. The first season I used it for everything as my only ski, mounted with a light ski touring pin binding. Being able to use one ski for everything I needed is a testament to its easy going diversity. In deep powder days it was a lot of fun with the super rocker making the turns easy, soft and playful. The ski is incredibly light making it a pleasure to ski tour with, and easy to carry bootpacking up steep couloirs or long skinning ascents. On steep technical descents it is easy to jump turn, and offers plenty of stability opening up with speed. I used it on two Haute Route ski tours from Chamonix to Zermatt where every type of snow condition is encountered. I found the ski was responsive and up to the job in all snow types.
I have also skied on the Thor 90 UL much of last season 2020. The Neoteric camber has a more traditional feel, and allows you to ski more aggressively powerfully. I found having a more classically shaped freeride camber it handles a harder snow pack better which is a preference for more aggressive skiers. Once again I love the ultralight technology as I spend a lot of time touring up hill and using my skis to access ice and mixed climbs which I did a lot of last winter. They were really fun to ride fast through the cold night powder with a big heavy pack after climbing too.
